The Pennsylvania Railroad line through the Allegheny Mountains in Pennsylvania is one of the most famous rail lines to ever exist. The line has undergone many changes throughout the years, but plenty of trains still run through this stretch!
We bring you the classic locations of this famous line, starting in historic Johnstown and following the line over the grade, around the World-Famous Horseshoe Curve before ending our run in Altoona.
We see unique NS power, rebuilt at the nearby Altoona Works Juniata Shops, the newest power NS has in the form of ET44s, and we see plenty of the fan- favorite heritage units, including 2 former owners of this line!
